Base Fitness was launched by Ian and Suzie in 2014 to service Bridge of Allan and Dunblane with mobile personal training and community fitness classes.

​

Between 2014 and 2022 they held their Monday night Circuits in Bridge of Allan and created a strong following of clients who are now attending their classes in Dunblane. They are proud to still run their Circuits class true to the same format with those same awesome clientele.

​

The couple have worked in various gyms across Dunblane, Stirling, Falkirk, Grangemouth, Cumbernauld and Gleneagles Hotel & Spa, building up a wealth of knowledge in various settings, class styles and fitness trends, as well as working with many clients of varying age and abilities.

​

When it was time for Ian and Suzie to pick a location to create their own fitness facility they chose Dunblane owing to the majority of their personal training clients already residing in the area and wanting to put down roots in the town they grew up in. 

​

They offer one-to-one personal training, sports massage therapy and multiple fitness classes throughout the week of varying styles. 

They specialise in Strength Training classes and utilise equipment such as Squat Racks, Deadlift and Hex bars, Weighted Sleds, Wall and Slam balls and a wealth of dumbbells and kettlebells ranging from 2kg - 25kg.

This range of equipment and style of programming complements other fitness classes available in Dunblane and provides a unique training facility and services not currently found in the local area.

​

"2024 was a fantastic first year operating out of our permanent base - delivering to the community over 650 fitness classes, 950 personal training sessions and 300 sports massages. We welcome over 150 locals into our facility each week and have loved being part of their health and wellbeing journey."

Ian and Suzie grew up in Dunblane and met while attending DHS.
